Mammograms {Breast X-ray) are a very important factor in the successful diagnosis of abnormalities of the breasts. By studying a mammogram, it is often possible to detect and identify problem areas early and, as a result, begin an effective and successful treatment program.




The SBC Mobile Breast Clinic provides full-service care with a breast specialist or physician's assistant on site. These services include breast examinations, digital mammograms and remote radiology support, and comprehensive diagnostic testing, patient navigation, prevention education, and treatment referral.



Mobile Clinic Breast Screening Program Eligibility
To be eligible for the Mobile Clinic Breast Screening Program, the patient must meet the following eligibility requirements:

*Must be 40 years or older.

*Must NOT have health insurance including Medicare and Medicaid.

*Must have NO existing Breast problems - No pain, swelling, lumps, nipple discharge, recent abnormal mammogram, etc.

*Must not have had a Mammogram within the past year (November 2022)

The above information will be used to request your appointment. 

This does not confirm your appointment time.  You will receive a separate email from wellness@impactdcd.org to schedule your appointment. We only have a select number of appointment slots. Please respond to the email for scheduling upon receipt. 

On your appointment date, we ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment time to complete the registration paperwork.
